1. Intriguing
Wonder what he thinks of Paul's more liberal stances?

Somebody hasn't been doing their homework.

6. If he ever starts really looking into what Libertarians espouse...
...your neighbor will be looking for an efficient way to remove bumper stickers without damaging the car.

12. Sure, today.
But, back in the day, I voted for him for President while he was running as a Libertarian.

15. What's Paul's gun stance...
I know he's a big pro-gun guy, maybe that's what's appealing?

17. The Libertarians tend to be big time gun fans.
The Libertarian candidate after Ron Paul strongly suggested that every citizen carry a concealed weapon at all times. If that's your issue of choice, just hearing a presidential candidate talk like that could make it appear that you've got a concealed weapon in your pants.

3. I have quite a few of them here....Virtually everyone thinks bush
is a pinhead, but only after the last election...where were they before...:grr:

Between the conversations on the lack of gravity, the sperm and egg each posessing 1/2 a soul and the Grand Canyon being ripped out instantaneously by the Great Flood, occasionally politics enters the discourse. I get a lot of, "bush is bringing Jesus back" stuff too. I usually answer w/something like, "then why are you so worried about taxes, paychecks and how a new SUV will look in your driveway?"...:D

8. They're an interesting crowd.
My favorite: "I prayed and prayed for guidance, and God told me to vote for George W. Bush." I often wonder if her prayer was answered by a crank caller.

13. LOL...makes you wonder doesn't it?
I can tell you one thing, if God spoke directly to me like that, I'd need a change in undies real quick like!

I've always been intrigued w/the "no gravity" thing...do any of these people who believe that clean their gutters? I've yet to float away from that ladder, and I know that the ground is pretty damn hard after falling 10-15 feet...:D

19. it is amazing to listen to, I just sit back and take it in...
wondering what they will do when the actually fall off a ladder, trip, slip on ice, or get hit w/something that fell from the sky, like a baseball or something...:D

They've got all kinds of answers for things; and I can tolerate some things, after all, if they want to believe that dinosaurs were on Noah's Ark, let 'em...no skin off my back, and it just means that I know more than they do. But when it comes to no gravity and half-souls, I have to draw the line. When ignorance is so blatant, no amount of intelligent discussion will change a mind.

Wouldn't that be a more logical choice? If not Ron Paul is a very curious choice.

20. The Ron Paul groupies have invaded Washington Journal big time
They call in on all three lines and they all seem to have the same talking points, must be a coordinated effort by a Ron Paul forum somewhere.

24. I havn't really noticed a strong stand on issues
They are fed up with the war and generally want smaller government but usually they come on saying that they supported mitt, or hillary or * but heard Ron Paul at the debate and are now sure who is right to lead the country. Within 3 or 4 days of the repuke debate I bet I heard this magic epiphany story 5 or 6 times from people who supported reps, dems and undecideds.
