Gen. Mixon on CNN just now: "I do not have enough troops in Diyala province."
Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr and the CNN mid-morning host were stunned to hear this admission, and there is supposedly only one more brigade (?) left to deploy to Iraq. They were commenting on how he didn't say, "We could always use more troops," but that he didn't have enough, period, to manage the increasing levels of violence in Diyala, northeast of Baghdad.

I have a hunch we are getting closer to the end folks, especially if more generals will say that. Please, tell me I'm right.
Ilsa.

2. Hope you are right about being close to the end
The madness HAS to stop. The generals have to stop kissing junta ass and start going to the people with the hard truth.
