1. Might be good to compile a list of CBS sponsors
and talk to them about what message firing an honorable man defending the troops and the people sends.

Took CBS how many decades and overlooked outrages before pressure on their sponsors made them can Imus?

Call the sponsors.

Any of you evilDUer watch CBS? Who pays their bills? Who shall we start calling?

2. I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from calling, but...
... why wouldn't CBS fire him? He took a political stand. CBS and the other broadcast networks are under considerable scrutiny with regard to their neutrality.

I agree with the firing and hope that they can those who open espouse right-leaning positions as well.

5. Oh, I'm sure they'll fire the right-wingers now
NOT

Please, it's all bullshit, firing this general.

I'm sad that anyone at DU would think it's ok.

3. Done
My message to them:
Firing Gen. Batiste for his ad is just more proof that you work hand in glove with the current misadministration. He is entitled to his opinion under the same First Amendment you espouse as your right to give us such drivel as Survivor. He was not even an ACTUAL employee of CBS but a consultant. Do you terminate everyone that has an opinion that Karl Rove does not agree with?
