Calling all South Floridians who want to help me win my case against Miami Police

As many of you know, I was arrested in February for photographing Miami police against their wishes. Here is the http://journals.democraticunderground.com/RagingInMiami/46">original post.

I've pleaded not guilty to the nine misdemeanor charges against me, but legal representation is not cheap, so tomorrow there will be a fund raiser in Dania Beach (south of Fort Lauderdale, north of Hollywood) to raise money for my case.

A portion of the proceeds will also go towards the Society of Professional Journalists Legal Defense Fund, which aids reporters and photographers nationwide in defending the freedom of speech and press guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
