MSNBC Looking at David Gregory as The Next Don Imus?

"NBC and CBS' WFAN radio are looking at NBC News White House correspondent David Gregory as their next Don Imus," Variety reports. "Sources said NBC is considering Gregory as a permanent replacement for Imus on MSNBC and that the network is in talks with WFAN on a deal to simulcast the show."

Important graf: "If the deal happens, it would essentially flip around the former arrangement, where MSNBC licensed Imus in the Morning from WFAN, which produced it. Imus' show was syndicated through CBS Radio and Westwood One. Under a new deal, MSNBC would own the show and have creative control, and WFAN would be the licensee."

I could live with him as the host though I wish Stephanie Miller would get it. Also this little gem from mediabistro.

"I've Had More Plastic Surgery Since I've Been On TV Than Michael Jackson"
When Joe Scarborough brought up Hillary Clinton's hairstyles on MSNBC this morning, she diverted the conversation right back to Joe:

"You know, as I recall, when you went from your congressional career to TV there were a few physical changes," Clinton laughed. "There were. There were," Scarborough responded.

At the end of the interview, Scarborough joked: "You have outed me about the fact I've had more plastic surgery since I've been on TV than Michael Jackson."

"You look great, Joe. You absolutely look great," she reassured...

1. I'm okay with it just because it will piss off the freepers.

2. Has David ever done "talk?" Just because someone reports the news, does not mean they can do a talk
show. Re: Joe Scarborough. He does pretty fair on his nightly show - he has been horrible on the morning talk show.

3. Does Stephanie Miller want it? I think she prefers radio.
Not to mention, we on the West Coast do not want her show on at 3:00 a.m! That was a horrible three days.
