in that he personally saw Gibbons receive bribe money.

Note: the former partner is feuding with Gibbons right now.

On Countdown now.

on edit: the former partner's name is Montgomery, and he is a Republican. so is Gibbons.

2. I always have a hard time with Lisa Gibbon's (Monica Blue Dress) reports.
and to believe she NOW has an EXCLUSIVE...I think it was handed to her by RW for some FAVOR.

But...maybe she's really a true "investigative reporter" amongst the "do nothings."

I just don't trust her credibility....much as I would like to...she's tainted by the Clinton stuff in my mind. Thanks for the post, though. I did see her report.

4. I think it is not Gibbon's former partner...
...rather, it's the former partner of the man who bribed Gibbons, to the tune of $100,000 or so. Yes, here it is: "...Dennis Montgomery <...> raised the bribery allegations in a lawsuit he filed against Trepp, his former business partner...". This snippet is from

In any case, it is too early to form an opinion, mainly because since this guy does have an axe to grind, we cannot just take his word for what happened. We will need some actual evidence, which he does claim to have.

Is Gibbon dirty? Wouldn't surprise me a bit -- in fact it would surprise me if he isn't. But that may just be my bias against most Republicans, along with the sleaze factor that blew up right before election time (but alas, he was elected anyway).

5. oops
thanks for the correction :hi:

I believe there are also emails to back Montgomery up -- Gibbons says they are forgeries.
