I want a President who thinks.
Edited on Sat May-12-07 12:10 AM by Labors of Hercules
Is it true that this Nation "wants a man of faith in the White House"??? Am I so insane to want the exact opposite?

I don't want a President who prays for guidance. I want a person of wisdom: One who seeks intelligent advice and meditates on ideas to decide on the best courses of action.

An individual's idea of "God" is NO plausible advisor to determine the fate of Nations.

and GODDAMN any administration that uses the name of God and Divine guidance as a smokescreen for carrying out policies of war, cruelty, destruction and blatant stupidity the way * has...

1. I'm into intellect. I always like someone with alot of it. That is why I really
disrespect shrub. It's his lack of it and curiosity that has made him the way he is.

7. He makes decisions the same way a lot of people do...
By applying gut reactions and longheld prejudice rather than rational and immediate thought. Some call it faith, but it's really just an excuse to be lazy in their decisionmaking and forming of beliefs. Thinking takes time, dedication and the compilation of knowledge, and too many Americans especially avoid thinking as a matter of principle, Dubya included.

How nice that God and Jesus are always there to accept the blame for the mess that so often results from decisions based on dogma. :eyes:

6. Is he too using "faith" to try and justify the fact that he doesn't make well-reasoned decisions? nt
