1. I've watched parts of it several times, but keep giving up in disgust.

The more than obvious frustration evinced by a few members is heartening, but the constant refrain, illustrating the incompetence of the DOJ and its control by the * administration is beyond patience.

It's not in my Tivo listings. I can set it manually but I don't know how many hours to record.

3. C-Span schedule say it is 4:12 long. It doesn't show on my TV

schedule either but it is listed on the C-Span web site.

6. It's up now. Who's dumber---GONZALES or "TEX" SENSENBRENER?

TEX hates to be called "TEX" not from any connection to "Texas," but because it refers to his being the heir to the KOTEX fortune.

So I thought he was just DENSE on the immigration issue, but here he is, trying to make partisan points by asking GONZO about lack of progress on the William JEFFERSON case, and his own stooge replies that he canNOT talk about the case. So TEX goes BALLISTIC!!1 Dueling BOZOS!!1

7. Some wingnut asked GONZO if he is satisfied with prosecution of illegal immigrants--HAH!!1

GONZO answered "We're doing ALL we can....problems with bedspace in prisons and RESOURCES"!!!1


HAH!!1 Doesn't he KNOW that raging wingnuts (O'LOOFAH, Lou DOBBS, TANCREDO, SENSENBRENNER, et al.) will allocate WHATEVER cash is needed to get all those brown people OUT of this country and will build WHATEVER concentration camps to house them.

Plus, ALL of these reps are being WAY deferential to this bozo and ALL of them seem dumber than a box of concrete mix. Back when the Rethugs were higher profile, I thought it was just a wingnut thing, but apparently being in the House of Reps is a qualifier for dumbness.

8. These hearings are a ZOO!!1 The members talking over one another AND

they "can't think of the WORD...OH, the 5th Amendment...INCRIMINATION, that's it..." Plus a "witness" who sits there not answering anything and LAUGHING at them!!1

So Rep. Sheila Jackson LEE asks a DAMNING question about GONZO's criminal inaction in Texas regarding the Youth Commission's performing rampant sexual abuse on their inmates, and GONZO responds with "inappropriate activities" or somesuch DISMISSIVE characterization.

9. Finally ON FIRE!!1 Rep. Maxine WATERS!!1

First she pinned GONZO down on whether he had even reviewed any of the personnel files of the fired attorneys. GONZO displays his UTTER INCOMPETENCE. Then she pinned him down on his lack of cooperation in providing documents requested by the committee.
