CNN is laying the groundwork by which to dismiss |

the wikileaks document dump. Ali Velshi ended his show by questioning the morality of disseminating information marked as secret.
Rick Sanchez just did the same thing.

1. It's just so counter to CNN's world |
|
I mean, can you imagine how fast the invitations to all the insider cocktail parties would dry up if CNN were to run some real, live, actual journalism? You know, the kind of reporting without fear or favor that exposes corruption and bad public policy? Why, they'd be . . . snubbed! And we, amongst the hoi polloi, will just never know what that's like: Walking up to Sen. Inhofe and having him just turn away from you? Or seeing all the other kewl kidz getting invited to Matt Lauer's place and your invitation getting lost in the mail or something?
You could just never understand it.

2. I think they're right to be cautious. |
|
Let's just try to figure who is releasing this information and why are they doing it.
They could just be anti-war but what if there's a political motive. The Rovians MO is short term destruction for short term gain. It isn't beyond them to do something like this.

4. What BS! The Wikileaks docs are the new Pentagon Papers. |
|
They need to be out there in front of the American people.

5. Media tried to paint Daniel Ellsberg as unpatriotic and dangerous. Heard him on NPR this afternoon. |

8. Be that as it may, this is an attempt to further erode the role of |
|
the press and journalism in reporting in an unbiased manner the information they receive.
