1. Sorry to hear that
I wouldn't wish this type of cancer on anyone. Lost a friend to it, was so difficult!

3. Isn't that frequently a side effect of chemo ?

due to nausea, etc.

Maybe he should smoke some marijuana

18. He should try marijuana - since it's only okay if Republicans do it.

4. He sure seemed to return to work quickly.
I know the treatments can suppress appetite, too. But if he's physically up to it, he's doing the right thing by returning to work. We shouldn't treat cancer as a secret we have to hide from. I want to see the contrite look on his mug that Wednesday morning when he tries to rationalize why they lost the 2008 elections so bad.
.

11. I've worked with nurses who were on chemo
and nursing is no desk to podium to desk job. Everybody reacts quite differently.

I haven't seen him. I'll take your word for it that he could use an appetite stimulant. Too bad it's illegal.

12. Chemo just started
Is weight loss is not from chemo. He just started treatments last Friday. He had NOT started chemo when he came back to work and I thought he looked very thin and gaunt. You can always tell in the face and neck. His shirt collar/tie looked too big.

13. But is it okay to call an asshole as asshole now
This man was an asshole when he was young and strong and now when he's feeble and sick he's still an asshole doling out the pap for the weakbrained and spinning like a fucking top.

15. It is painful to watch family and close friends
suffering from cancer. I feel it for your sister. My youngest sibbling died from cancer two years ago. I have no love for Tony Snow but I don't wish suffering on anyone - maybe Bushco.

tony has. Terrible disease they need to find a cure, if only his boss was for stem cell research. Damn *

17. Yes, cancer is horrible but people here mocked Tami Faye Baker's cancer last week.
Pretty sad if you ask me.

20. They weren't mocking her cancer
Some wondered about those poor people she ripped off. Afterall we don't know how many of those poor unknown folks died of cancer or other painful diseases after Tammy Faye and her husband conned them out of their savings. If Cheney croaked from a heart attack, you certainly won't see me mourning. I'd be upset that he didn't suffer.

22. Tammy Faye got hers for her actions...
I found some of the comments unnecessary compaired to consideration shown to Tony Snow - a far more repugnant character than Tammy Faye.

19. He's really not long for this world, you know. And "graceful exit" isn't in his vocabulary.
All snark aside, the guy is gonna be dead real soon, so I'll
not speak ill of him.

Just kinda sad to see somone who is so completely, utterly, HONESTLY lacking
even the meagrest UNDERSTANDING of "integrity" that they would spend their final
days doing what Mr. Snow is doing.

And just when I think it couldn't get any sadder,
I realize that someone, somewhere...is gonna miss him.

I really have no words for that.

Sincerely,
Richard.
