Really? Just the tax break?

I mean if you're a business other than Haliburton or...well that's about it.

Everyone else ended up with more loss than profit (adjusted for inflation) after these 6 years...pretty much every person AND business.

11. If you're talking about small businesses, your right. There's not much
of an advantage. But there are a lot of bigger businesses besisdes Hallilburton who benefited BIG TIME from being a Pub under this admin. Remember, the DOJ, FCC, SEC, etc pretty muich leave them alone. They set up their business in the Caymen Islands and nobody even checks to see if they've done so legally. How many of the executives in those businesses have bought or sold stock based on insider info? There have been all kind of special deals made to let those businesses get away with ANYTHING! Do you really thik that's not an advantage????

21. That Tax Break Ends In 3 1/2 Years....
One of the biggest failures of the boooshie rubber stamp congress was not making their coveted tax cuts permanent when they had the chance. In 2011 the tax rates will return to where they were pre-boooshie and the fat cats will be in for a real rude awakening. Unless revisions are made (I think Democrats should push for keeping the cuts permanent for those earning 200k or less) there is neither the political will or votes for future cuts or keeping these permanent. So when someone tells you how booshie cut their taxes, tell them it was a bribe...the bill comes due in 2011.

That's about it as nearly as I can tell, at least for the vast majority of people who don't have serious money.

and especially if you're a corporate news watching republic, you can blame EVERY problem in America on the Libs and "their" Liberal media.

No personal responsibility for anybody or anything.

25. It depends upon where you live. There are very many conservative areas in this country.
As bad as it looks now for Republicans, the vast majority of Republican representatives and senators will be reelected in 2008. The fight ain't over till it's over so there is no sense in prematurely strutting about how things are now.
