BLOODY VETOES
Congress just sent President Bush a bill that fully funds our troops, gives them money for vital life-saving equipment, and for improving the health care of our veterans. Shamefully, Bush has chosen to play politics and hold our soldiers hostage to his ego by vetoing this bill because it contains “timelines.” When he first started his run for president in 1999, Bush himself called for timelines and exit strategies in Eastern Europe. John “Weathervane” McCain also called for them in Europe, and in Somalia before that, yet now opposes them in Iraq. It was the second time Bush has vetoed a bill during his presidency, the previous being the stem cell research bill. Both bills were supported by a vast majority of the American public and would have saved lives if signed into law. President Bush, your two vetoes are inked with the blood of Americans.

there was a couple of other good ones in there this week.

And, while I'm not a huge fan of Hilary Clinton, they've had the same Hilary-basher on the front page of Speak Out twice in the past month or so. I say the same because both times the person had the same type of "do your research" quote in there while using blatant lies about her.
