The real job outlook in my area

My wife has been out of work a year last January.
She applied for an 8.50 an hour job working for a contractor that runs the food service at Neumann collage.
5 jobs were available over ONE THOUSAND applied.
She managed to make the final 20.
I am hoping she gets it...it has insurance.
