Billions of national treasure flushed down the sewer that is Afghanistan and Iraq...
Edited on Thu Aug-05-10 01:42 AM by WCGreen
This just makes me ill.

The amount of money siphoned off by contractors, speculators, corrupt government officials on both side of the conflicts is staggering.

And yet every politician, well almost everyone of the cocksuckers, can't resist the swinging, swaggering dick or worse, are afraid a swinging dick will run against them, out Red White and Blue them and lose their precious job. Yea, the LOTR analogy is apt.

We can't even run a fucking war with out waste and inefficiency.

I am just amazed at how low our government and their enabling media whores have sunk our government,

And in such a short span of time.

I am just really pissed off.

1. I hear you, I really do.
And I too am pissed off, big time.

How. Dare. They.

And to think we thought and hoped it could be, would be .......different.

Sometimes I have trouble sleeping because this upsets me so much.

We have so much need for that money right here.

How do we stop them?

I just don't know anymore...

4. Yes. All because of the goddamn wars.
I expected that sort of behavior from Republicans. NOT from a Democratic administration.

5. I couldn't agree with you more! And I am pissed off also..but besides the money, our true fortune
lost... is the human life!

Our national treasure lost is that of each and every soldier who has been lost ..and all those who our government has murdered!

And I say Murdered , because that is what it has been..because these wars were based on nothing but total lies..that makes each death Murder in my eyes!

6. People can't have it both ways
The leaked information from WikiLeaks.org shows that the executive branch is conducting illegal operations in Pakistan, in violation of the War Powers Act. The Congress is the governing body that is supposed to have responsibility over foreign policy - not the executive. Heads of state are eager to go to war to line the pockets of their associates. The whole thing has been corrupt, and the Iraq war was in planning since at least '95. America has been in a state of perpetual war for decades. It is up to Congress to end funding for the war, humiliate the President, whomever he/she may be, and bring the troops home with honor.

The alternative is that we can just go bankrupt.
