2. Exactly.
But it's shameful that no one is calling him on his bigotry

3. True, but they almost don't need to. Joe is calling himself out. Joe is being repetitive
In his he doth protest to much that he is a libertarian and he believes in live and let live.

5. Barnicle was pretty weird, too. Did you hear him blather about people
in Missoula, MT not caring much about marriage equality for gays. How the hell does HE know?

Missoula just happens to be the home of the University of MT and I have a good friend whose sister (a confirmed liberal, like her) teaches there. Missoula is also the birthplace of Jeannette Rankin, the first woman elected to the U.S. Congress. Doesn't sound like a backwater to me...

Barnicle and Joe can go suck eggs...

6. Already turned him off
the fact that he just uncritically accepted the claim that democrats purposeful killed the 9-11 responders bill eroded what little patience i had for listening to his stupidity.

awhile ago it was him "call out" the peace loving liberals for not being vocal about the wars now that Obama's in office.

7. Why would Democrats change the rules and use a procedure that requires two thirds to pass?
They know they will NEVER get Republicans to side with them on any issue in such numbers.. I do believe it was deliberate and it was done for political reasons and had no real concern for those Americans the bill would address. The Bill passed by a large amount just no where near two thirds..This was POLITICAL and anyone saying different should give an explanation why the rules were changed for this.
