Yesterday was awesome
Woke up in the morning and heard Mayor Bloomberg defending the proposed mosque in Manhattan.
Read the news that the senate had passed a bill to give aid to the cash strapped states potentially saving tens of thousands of teachers jobs.
The hole in the ocean appears to be successfully plugged up.
And prop 8 was overturned.
The whole day was a ray of sunshine after so many years of shock and disappointment. After listening and reading bigoted, hateful crap spewing forth from t-partying dimwits and enduring constant coverage of that complete embarrassment Palin.

I wish everyday was President Obamas birthday if it's always going to be that good.
Is it just me?

4. Yes, yesterday was an exceptionally good day for the President. My
daughter went into the hospital at 5pm Tuesday to begin the process of labor induction. I thought it was really neat that my newest grandson would share his birthday with President Obama. But, after 12 hours she was not ready to have the child. Then the day continued to pass yesterday and into the night and she still hadn't given birth. So, the strapping young man made his way into the world at 4:30 this morning. Oh well, I'm glad he's here despite missing it by a day, lol.

6. O! Congratulations!
I hope your daughter is doing well. My son's birthday is on Saturday. (He'll be six) He calls the pres the "Good guy president." August is a fabulous month to be born in. Always full of sunshine. May your grandson live a long long healthy happy life. :)
