Fred Thomson's advertisement to keep the tax cuts is saying,
"All you little people must vote for my benefit, so I don't have to give any bit of my many millions to help you."

And he says it with a straight face and most of the people following him have no idea he is stealing their money.

1. I wonder how many people seeing that ad have capital gains or dividends to protect from tax?
How many understand that if you are not wealthy letting the tax cuts expire is in your best interest?

I wonder how many understand that the deficit could be cut in half if we let the tax cuts expire and end the two wars we are in?

I wonder how many know that if we don't let the tax cuts expire they will lose social security and medicare benefits?

2. lazy Fred Thompson is also a paid spokesman for Goldline
I'm wondering how many of those millions are tied up in the rip-off priced Goldline coins. My guess is zero. I'm sure he's also getting paid for his tax cheat advertisements.

6. I gave Thompson the benefit of the doubt when he voted to convict the big Dog reasoning he was
voting his conscience rather than as a partisan hack: what an unfettered, unmitigated naive fool I was, what (fill in the blankety-blank blank) he is and has always been. :P

7. In his commercial for reverse mortgages he says
that the loans are guaranteed by the federal government, like he's saying you can trust the government to protect them...

But isn't he one that says government can't be trusted and is against you? Don't the people that would trust him enough to buy a product he's hawking believe the same?

9. Every good speaker tailors his message to his audience
When you are trying to fuck old people, you tell them they can trust the government.

When you are trying to win support of useful idiots so you can fuck everyone else, you tell them they can't trust the government.

8. Typical Repub ploy using a Hollywood celebrity to ifluence "little people."
Aren't the Repubs always bitchin' about Hollywood liberals influencing policy?

I can name more Hollywood celebrities who have, or are holding political offices as Republicans, than you can name holding office as Democrats, starting with the conservative patron saint, Ronnie Ray-gun. There's also:
Fred Thompson
Fred Grandy
Arnold Schwarznegger
Sonny Bono
Charlton Hesston

Expand the field to sports celebrities:
Jack Kemp
Steve Largent
JC Watts
Jim Bunning
Tom Osborne

And there's another group who live off their father's or grandfather's sports celebrity names:
George Allen
Connie Mack
