By Gingrey and Graham and Diehl's definition I have "dropped" two children. A citizen by birth, I married a Middle Eastern man and had two children by him. They were both born here and we lived abroad for 10 years during their formative years. Gingrey essentially said my children were "dropped" and that, as their mother, I cannot confer citizenship on them either through that status or by giving birth to them in the country of my birth because their father was a foreigner. He does not give grace for the fact that the man had a green card. If you follow through on his delineation, my children should be deported and my daughter has "dropped" four children with the American man she is married to.
