Serial Adulterer Gingrich Makes Mistake of Leaving Comments Open on his “Defense of Marriage” Post
Edited on Sat Aug-07-10 06:30 AM by Ian David
So, Newt farts out a boilerplate “defense of traditional marriage” — because the gays are all about hating on marriage by getting hitched — in a post that allows comments.

I honestly don’t know what I did to deserve this … a very good deed, obviously. Tom Scocca at Slate captured it all for posterity (via LGM):

• Newt you cheated on your first wife then dumped her when she was in the hospital with cancer. Later you cheated on your second wife with a 27 year old congressional aide. Maybe you should pipe down about defending marriage.

• No, I want to hear more from the twice-divorced man about how marriage has to be reserved for one man and one woman. I wonder if the two former Mrs. Gingriches would testify as to Newt’s reverence for marriage.

<snip>

• Mr. Gingrich will become immune to allegations of hypocrisy on the issue of marriage when he stops passing judgment on the right of others to marry.

<snip>

Scocca wraps it up:

Newt Gingrich is unafraid to face his critics. That or he has a lazy webmaster. Either way, right now, the top-rated comment on Ginrgich’s Prop 8 post—liked by 49 Newt.org readers—is “Which one of your multiple marriages was the most sacred to you?”

5. Maybe he'll realize his run is all for naught I think the
reason Scarbrough declined the offer of the GOP to run again in Florida is he got flooded with emails and letters about the "suicide" of his intern. And he knew he wouldn't have a chance because the public, didn't get the real reason why she died.

6. Their hypocrisy makes them most dangerous.........
Edited on Sat Aug-07-10 08:53 AM by CrownPrinceBandar
They can dump on someone for doing something that they see is immoral or onerous, and then turn around and do it themselves with total impunity, not bothered at all by the contradiction. The short attention-span and lack of true moral fiber makes these kind of folks more dangerous than a rattlesnake in a can of copperheads.
