Dobson is 71 and Robertson in 77 |
|
Our long national nightmare is beginning to come to an end.
The joyful news is that there are no heir-apparents.

No doubt there will be someone in their 40's or 50's to step forward and claim the crown. And with falwell's death, robertson and dobson will be directing alot of energy to ensure that happens.

Rawstory is reporting on their front page that * met with a group of these religious leaders at the WH last week to discuss Iraq, Iran, etc. www.rawstory.com for "Bush Met with Dobson....."
Has anyone heard of this meeting? I hadn't until I checked Rawstory this morning?

3. Obesity was more of a factor for Falwell than age, don't you think? |

11. Falwell was 73, nearly 74, not far from the average lifespan of 76 for a VA white man |
|
Obesity was only a slight factor.

4. They will have a long reach |
|
They all founded higher education facilities in order to place young people (followers) into places of influence in this country. There is now a whole generation of brain washed/ extremely loyal but professional people now available to be placed into places of influence. Just look at Bushes reliance of these people to fill civil positions in the Justice Department etc.

9. As Bob Wilson pointed out, there's reason to be optimistic |
|
Even the most backward conservative doesn't want the "conservative" politics of 1931. At least, they don't say that publicly. Each generation becomes a little more liberal. Therefore, all of the little bowl-cut, blank-eyed minion of the Falwell belt aren't nearly as obnoxious as these old coots.
Good riddance.
