3. This report is also ominous

<snip>
Former United States Senator Ted Stevens was one of eight people aboard a plane that crashed in southern Alaska on Monday night, a former member of Mr. Stevens’s Congressional staff said on Tuesday.

Five people were believed to have been killed in the crash, and the aide, who spoke on condition of anonymity out of respect to the family, said it was unclear whether anyone had survived the crash.

Rescue crews from the Alaska Air National Guard and the United States Coast Guard arrived on the scene more than 10 hours after the crash, as rain and fog hampered the efforts.

4. The problem they are having
is where it is, and communications.

They will not confirm a damn thing until they have clear comms.

It is amazing that even in the age of satellite and all that, there are still areas of the world where you will not officially do squat until you got clear comms.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Dave Dittman, a former aide and longtime family friend of former Sen. Ted Stevens says Stevens was killed in a plane crash near Dillingham Monday night. Dittman says he received a call overnight Monday that said the former Senator was dead. Nine people were on board, including former NASA Chief Sean O'Keefe. Five people were killed in the crash, but other identities were not known, nor are the conditions of the survivors.

Late through the night rescue crews were battling bad weather conditions to reach the scene, where Good Samaritan personnel had already made it, said Air National Guard spokesman Maj. Guy Hayes.

<snip>

FAA records show the plane is registered to GCI.

14. I just watched the link from Alaska on GEM$NBC
The lady said that three persons were sent to anchorage in serious to critical condition - that means six persons died or five died and one wasn't seriously injured.
Mudflats haven't changed their story.
