Dem. congressman runs against "Washington crowd" -- Obama, Boehner and Pelosi
here's a sensible Democrat! Obama-Donnelly 2012!

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2010/08/et-tu-freshman-democrat-from-indiana/61235/

Rep. Joe Donnelly, a freshman Democrat from Indiana, has released a new ad touting his commitment to securing the borders and opposing amnesty, since "no one should ever be rewarded for breaking the law." Democrats just passed a bill upping border security, but Donnelly's hard-line stance on amnesty smacks much more of a Republican Party message than a Democratic one.

The ad hammers in this party desertion theme when it pans over a photo of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and John Boehner, with Donnelly declaring, "That may not be what the Washington crowd wants, but I don't work for them!"

The appeal of the Pelosi pile-up has officially seeped across the aisle and into the Speaker's own ranks. It's a risky gamble for Donnelly, though -- railing against the unpopular Speaker may up his chances of re-election in a swing district, but what if he prevails, only to find himself still in the majority? Pelosi is not known for forgiving and forgetting.

1. The Democrat Oliverio in WV that is running for
Congressman Mollohan's seat is running even farther right than the Republican. He has adopted the Teabagger platform.
