Why is it some folks don't have any concern about what Gibbs said having an effect on the election
but are obsessed with worrying about the effect of anonymous posters on the internet?
One would think the televised words of an official Representative of the WH railing at those who may disagree, with or are frustrated with, some of the WH policies would do much more damage than opinions of anonymous bloggers! Yet some are only interested in taking the anonymous bloggers to task while ignoring the statements of Gibbs or assigning them a lesser value. I simply do not understand that.:eyes:

6. And yet, I will not ditch my voter registration phone banking
tonight. We're registering first time Latino voters. There's way more to life than what one hack in DC says in an excess of honesty to a reporter.

7. We had a primary tonight in Minnesota, and I happily
cast my vote for Rep Keith Ellision. I was informed today, that he was a part of the 'Professional Left' too. :woohoo:

3. I understand it.
There will be, from some, no criticism of this administration for anything, at any time; storm troopers whose single self-appointed job on anonymous internet sites is to police the message.

It's doesn't make sense, but then, I'm cognitively challenged, crazy, drugged, or something.

11. Yes, there are.
And there are many who fit the description I gave.

Not all Obama supporters think or act as one, just as not all Democrats do.

4. It's puzzling, isn't it?
Apparently being right on the intertubes is more important than a decent turnout.

I know you've been working hard, saracat. It must not be easy in all this flak.

12. Frankly, I'm losing interest with the whole crew....
...more and more, they're just looking like cardboard cut-outs. It's getting so predictable, it's increasingly hard to get upset.

It's expected at this point.

Palin! Fiorina! McCaine! Issa! That whack job lady from Nevada!

Aaaahhhhh!

If all of those get to be in charge, then there was nothing worth saving in the first place. The nation is a rotting corpse. Any nation that would even consider those people, is a nation about to choke on it's own pretzels.

And... I wrote my congresswoman and stated my anger at the white house for the insults, not only from Gibbs, but the DADT survey that Obama has not denounced, to Emanuel, and who cares what he said, how he said it, or what he meant. He is part of the problem. I also apologized that I can't be there for the Democrats as much as I used to, until the white house gives me a reason to free up my time.

14. Not worried. Y'all have been screaming for months that you plan to sit on your hands this election.
Whatever.

All this wailing-and-gnashing of teeth that's going on here though over Gibbs' remarks is quite entertaining.

15. saracat has been working hard to replace that witch in Arizona with a Democrat.
You really, really should pay more attention to the work that people are doing around here.

20. Hey, c'mon now. Cut Gibbs some slack.
Obviously, he saw Tom Tomorrow's cartoon and felt the need to defend the Obama administration.

After all, when you're faced with such a formidable opponent, you have to fight back.
