here in the Ga. Republican primary runoff for Governr. Those re the results with 99% of the vote counted so I gues that's it.

I really disliked both candidates, but if there's anything positive out of this election is that Half Gov. Palin endorsed Handel and this means she screwed up again!

I hope this takes even more of the glow off those damn golden wings Palin thinks she has.

2. I am seeing a mere 2,000 vote difference
pretty darn close for 579,000 votes cast

6. You're right I was looking at the total votes & thinking they were showing
the difference. Even 2,000 I think is probably too many to make up with only 1% left to count.

5. It's a 2500 vote difference
Handel pulled in big numbers in the urban counties, while Deal performed best in the rural counties and some of the suburbs, which was the combination needed to win. Sarah Palin couldn't carry her to win.

7. Both of these people
are absolutely wicked. Their TV ads were vicious - if this is a precursor to what the rethugs are going to be throwing at Dems in the fall, we better start pulling together, folks.

9. John King had the nerve to say that Palin was having remarkable success with their endorsements. nt
