Karl Rove is loving this shit |

The right doesn't have to do a damn thing to win this war. We're losing it just fine on our own.
Seriously... now we have people who are upset that a Democratic President supported an incumbent Democratic Senator in a Democratic primary?
REALLY??? This is outrage worthy?
Two distinctly different posters from Colorado actually asked the question "Why did Obama support Bennet in the primary?" Like it is some underhanded conspiracy when the titular head of the Democratic party endorses and supports a sitting Democratic senator who has a 100% record of voting with the Democratic majority in the senate.
I mean... come on. That's what you're angry about now? That the President supports incumbent Democrats in their re-election battles?
Through the fucking rabbit hole.

This is worse than the time they fell for the "Pelosi knew" story at the WaPo.

incumbent, because for many years it has been official Democratic Party policy to support incumbent democrats, unless they have done something really outrageous. And not being liberal enough for DU doesn't count as really outrageous.

11. Obama supported the incumbent because he held several fund raisers for Obama |
|
He also supported Blanche Lincoln who fights Obama 90% of the time.

14. a re-election battle against a Republican is one thing |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-11-10 11:37 PM by hfojvt
a re-election battle against a primary opponent is another.
It is kinda sickening when it seems to be "the establishment vs. the people". It often seems to be a Government of the insiders, by the insiders and for the insiders. Most of the supporters of Bennet's opponent voted for Obama. They didn't vote for him so he could turn around and work against them, did they?
