Senator Wrestlemania and Senator Droopy - welcome to Idiocracy, USA
In case you're still catching up with yesterday's primary results, Linda McMahon of World Wrestling Entertainment won the Republican nomination in Connecticut to run against Blumenthal for US Senate.

Senator McMahon and Senator Lieberman? Really? Connecticut, I feel your pain - but unless you stop McMahon in her tracks, your state may start to resemble this:

And just like real WWE wrestling, it's all staged.

4. So would you rather the puke candidate
Edited on Wed Aug-11-10 10:59 AM by sharp_stick
was Simmons or Schiff? Those two assholes plus McMahon were the only options.

My take is that the only puke that had a snowballs chance in hell in a general election fight with a popular Attorney General (Blumenthal) would be Simmons because he can come across as a decent guy when he isn't fingering the teabag he now carries in his pocket alongside the Constitution he also now carries in his pocket.

McMahon, even after spending around 30 million on a primary has done nothing but drive up her own negatives. After 30 million she has managed to pull within double digits of Blumenthal who hasn't even started campaigning yet. She was also unable to break 50% in a primary where the second place opponent just jumped back into the race about 3 weeks ago. She's a lightweight with a pile of money.

Anything is possible but I thinks she's toast, now we have to find a credible candidate to get rid of Lindsay Grahams lap-dog in 2012.

5. My point is that if McMahon defeats Blumenthal...
...Connecticut, which has already spawned the likes of George W. Bush upon the world, may soon find its municipal water supplies converted into Brawndo by the likes of Sens. Wrestlemania and Droopy:

Brawndo - the Thirst Mutilator!

6. The McMahon empire does terrible things to people. Just ask Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and

Owen Hart.

They basically treat their employees like circus animals. They created the term "sports entertainment" to distance themselves from legitimate sports that are subject to regulation by state athletic commissions. All so they could pump their "superstars"(note that they are never referred to by the WWE as "wrestlers," "fighters" or "athletes") full of drugs.

He's now a true-blue MMA fighter, and doing very well for himself.
