Rohan Gunaratna told a security conference at Lloyd's of London insurance market that Iraq, like Afghanistan in the 1990s, would become a "terrorist Disneyland" where al Qaeda could build up its strength unchallenged
So extremely long lines, incredibly overpriced meal and hotels and theme rides based on movies made 40-50 years before you were born? I don't get the analogy.

1. Well, you know, the only reason terrorists kill |
|
is for the sheer childlike joy in murdering random civilians for no reason. They have no political agendas at all.

2. Iraq has become Fantasyland.... |
|
It is the land of make-believe, where you have to be a child to believe the fantasy that al-Qaeda is running the show there.
In the real world, it's called the Iraqi resistance fighters, not al-Qaeda.
So the analogy applies.
