1. And he said that Al Gore, in 'his move' |

wants people to stop using toilet paper or something like that.
He also basically said that Kerry bought and paid for the Climate Change scientist Jim Hansen, to talk about how global warming is impacting the world. Hansen was bought off with a grant. Ah, Hansen never got a grant, he got an Award with no strings attached for lifetime achievement. (And Hansen is a registered Republican.)

4. In 1988, while Reagan was still president, ... |
|
James Hansen, who was working for NASA at the time, testified before a congressional committee that Global Warming wasn't some future event, it was here and now. Before testifying, Hansen was warned by NASA that if he tetified that Global Warming was real, Reagan would cut funding to his (Hansen's) group at NASA. Hansen did testify, and funding to his group at NASA was cut (reduced, not eliminated).
So, why did Hansen testify that way?

2. Inhofe...another member of the Republican Flat-Earth Caucus |
|
I read that on another DUer's thread (I think Kerry used the term). I don't remember who posted it, though.

6. Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) "...the world is flat." |

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x3265605"We are now just repeating each other. Nothing new is being said." Sen. Inhofe, now. Kerry just said, "not on our time" as Warner gets five minutes to mourn Falwell. Starts by saying Falwell made only a little more than $100 from the collection plate during his first service.

Inhofe cited Jacques Chirac, former French President to back up his argument. Kerry just said, "You're the only one I know who says Jacques Chirac speaks for America."
Inhofe does look French, don't ya think?

7. Maybe someone should ask Inhofe |
|
how he got out of that fraud case where he was suspected of insider fraud or something like that when the insurance company he ran went bankrupt. And he lost all those customers money. Seems like that is a favorite past time of the republicans. Start a company steal the money go bankrupt and then run for office.
