USA = United Spineless Americans
Edited on Wed Aug-11-10 04:44 PM by Jeffersons Ghost
I'm as gutless as the rest of America when my computer has problems. I hope that someone from India answers the phone, so that I can understand the instructions. Oriental operators often have more pronounced accents. Call it racism, if you must: But I just want to understand. It's worse when we talk to machines that don't understand our accents.

My grandfather would have hung up the phone and taken the machine back to where he bought it. If I did the same thing, they'd advise me to call an 800 number and talk to someone who replaced a US worker. If I became insistent, they'd call a cop.

With "globalization" we've become expendable. Do you dare to take a vacation? How's you're health-care and retirement? McDonalds is open in Paris. Most big companies don't need us anymore.

Media attempts to foster strong opinions. If you believe strongly in something, you'll fall for everything else.

We're not getting what we deserve. We're getting what we allow.

4. It's the 50-55 percent of the American populace that's screwing it up for all of us.
There's a large share of wonderful, intelligent people in this land....and then there are the others...sigh..

9. You noticed that too?
It's not going to get any better until the embarrassingly dumb Palinites are afraid to show their face in public, let alone the voting booth.

11. That what I think too. We have a loud vocal ignorance factor in this country that
downs out any iota of intelligence/knowledge. Then, many take what the loud ignoramuses say as truth. I am so tired of it all, the shear garbage we have to listen too all of the time. And then the profiteering opportunistic MSM echos it all over the place, tabloid journalism.

10. There is a concept on information exchange.
Edited on Wed Aug-11-10 04:50 PM by RandomThoughts
If a group is bad or corrupt, then they can't tell the truth.

However if some people tell the truth in a sector, then the bad people are in trouble if those people are believed, so then removing credibility of the entire sector happens.

After some people in a sector start being honest, the next step would not be missinformation, but really wild missinformation to create lack of credibility. Then finally replacement or rebuilding.

If something, the media for example, is lock step or in control, then the missinformation can be mild, and will try to create credibility since it is needed to be believed.

But if people start telling the truth, then the corrupt part of the sector will panic and go full missinformation to 'noise' up anything that is said. It is short term thinking, but panic reactions usually are.

Or as an example, the increases of modified videos, and use of 'plant' videos has made me really happy, it shows much progress.

13. Its them Spineless Conservatives AKA Republicans who are the Problems
Edited on Wed Aug-11-10 05:06 PM by opihimoimoi
They have HIJACKED the real Pub Party and engineered a Dysfunctional Society catering to their wants and desires while ignoring the rest pf America.

Dems( most of them)....are not spineless...they do what is best for America....

not so much them Republicans who have adapted the NO BRAND to everything....

Real Americans are courageous enough to desire Positivity

Spineless Pubs whine and sow discontent...they are spineless in addressing solutions...of the real kind
