Only a 0.54% chance of GOP takeover
Today is a good day for some good news.

Most likely outcome, with Rasmussen: 52 Dems, 47 GOP, 1 Charlie Crist
Most likely outcome, without Rasmussen: 54 Dems, 45 GOP, 1 Charlie Crist

5. unless they eliminate the filibuster & start passing real legislation
it won't matter much... we've had 60-40 for a while and have been blocked on almost everything anyway..

There have been legislative victories, to be sure, but those were tainted by months of bargaining-down, so the final result is a pale shadow of what we should have had.. republicans have proved once again, that they don't need a majority to f- everything up.

9. I disagree that we've been blocked.
I think we've gotten just what the Democrats in the Senate have wanted.

10. if we hold the senate, we can change the rules at the
beginning of the session. If they get the senate, they get to make the rules. We were just naive in not changing their rules right away...but then we have Harry as our fearless leader.

15. Assuming the votes are counted there never was. But RahmObama has squandered a chance at making
gains, instead. That's right, we could have *gained* seats considering all of the advantages we have right now.
