2. Vince is a crook
He is a symbol for everything that is bad about our nation and his WWE is part of the cancer that has made our nation to embrace hate.

15. In 2007, at least 10 superstars, including Mr. Kennedy, were suspended for steroid use.

19. For show
There has been several deaths related to drug use since 2007.

Chris Benoit comes to mind.
Test (Andrew Martin) is another.

25. wwe has a HUGE economic interest in the display of bulked up masculinity
as do the "stars" themselves. of course they're going to have a policy and occassional enforcement of it. but they're certainly not going to squelch it entirely, far from it.

how eager was professional baseball to squelch steroid use? they tolerated it for a long time and only when the scandal and outrage became too much did they, maybe, appear to start to sort of take it seriously.

wwe on the other hand thrives on scandal and outrage and controversy, so i don't see any kind of reform coming soon.

so, please, stop being a naif.

18. Their testing policy is self-regulated
It's a joke.

If WWE is serious about their steroid policy (which they aren't) - they would have kicked out 90% of their wrestlers already.

32. Vince has refused to disclose exactly
how they go about 'testing' their performers for enhancement drugs. At the same time, the WWE's performers are still physically massive, suggesting that the usage of steroids is still rampant.

7. That's what I got to say
so the republicans can lambaste President Obama for no good reason. Print horrendous signs and pictures about him and Pelosi and Reid, have his picture smeared in cartoon all over a carnival with people throwing darts at it, but they are not to speak ill of his piece of crap wife and his business. Gee again....the definition of a CONservative says they think they have the divine right.

10. Actually I'd think the hyjinks of the WWE would work in her favor.
Everything about the WWE is about making a fast buck TODAY. Long term consequences have never been considered. Clearly NO ONE in the organization was adult enough to think twice about having "a monster" simulate sex with a dead teenager. These people will fit right in with the Republican hoard when they get to Washington DC.

31. The WWE created an environment that encouraged steroid abuse. Only those with large builds and huge
muscles were pushed to the top. Things may have changed in recent years, but the bulk of the McMahons' fortune was amassed during the period when drug testing was nonexistent in the company. Frankly, I've heard their current drug testing program leaves a lot to be desired, with the bigger stars given more leniency.

21. She's spent several million dollars of her own money
A self-financed campaign invites scrutiny on just how that money was "earned." I'd call that an issue, because without a vast personal fortune, Ms. McMahon would never have been a serious candidate.

22. The McMahon's treatment of their workers is very relevant.
Edited on Sat Aug-14-10 08:02 PM by PM Martin
The McMahon's abused their workers, then threw them to the curb when they needed healthcare.
In a similar respect, Ms. McMahon wants to repeal the new health care reform law that was passed in the spring, denying
health coverage to working class people and children.
