Liberty University
Anyone find it ironic that Falwell picked a town called Lynchburg as the home for his university?

5. No shock

'Liberty' is a word tossed around by the right all the time...it is a POLITICAL word nowadays and that is the game Jerry played. The religion was just the ediface that gave his insane politics a strong push.

6. falwels hipocricy
I'm acquainted with Jim Baker and i'v talked with him somewhat about
what happened about his downfall and the events that led to his imprisonment and losing everything?
Well, Jim admits to not being totally above board, but he never broke any laws, which is why it is a little puzzling as to why he would be sentenced to forty years in prison if he broke no law??
Jim spent five years and was released with all charges being dropped
and having to agree too not file any lawsuites. It seems the Judge in the case had to resign from the bench because of the irregularites at the trial.
Jerry Falwel and Pat Robertson, Ralph Reed and a few others had conspired to frame Baker and gain control of his vast following, and hence, the birth of the Christian Coalition. Jimmy Swaggert was another victim of this gang of thugs. While swaggert deserved to be punished, this gang of (unforgiving loving Christians) had gained control and power for political purposes and to this day are weilding that power at anyone who gets in their way.
The Baker family was torn apart by a group of power hungry, greedy republican operatives and the family will never totally recover.
Jim says that he has forgiven them and I believe he has.
Now they will haft to deal with God?
BLIB:nopity:
