the bell ringing Salvation Army Santas away a few years ago, in accordance with their blanket no solicitation policy. What that has to do with any religion beyond the Salvation Army escapes me, but fundies of all flavors seemed to take it personally.
Not that they could afford the few extra bucks for superior merchandise that Target charges, of course.
I haven't been able to go there since the new CEO decided the best way to fatten the bottom line was to throw all the full time employees into part time and cancel their benefits. The guy is a schmuck and there is no way I'm going to fatten the bottom line while he's in there.

I can't speak for other parts of the country. Here, where Target Headquarters is located and where the GOOPer Governor candidate received funds, it was big news.
