Playing the Nazi card....
Newt Gingrich compares mosque to Nazis

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Monday compared the mosque planned to go up blocks away from ground zero in New York to Nazis protesting next to the Holocaust museum.

Gingrich highlighted the fact that New York Democratic Gov. David Paterson and numerous others have proposed alternative locations for the mosque in arguing that the leaders of the cultural center are “radical Islamists” who want to prove that “they can build a mosque next to a place where 3,000 Americans were killed by Islamists.”

“That's why they won't accept any other offer,” he said during an interview on Fox News's "Fox & Friends."

Gingrich then declared that if the mosque is indeed being built as a symbol, which its leaders have repeatedly denied, New York authorities have every right to prevent it from being built.

“We ought to be honest about the fact that we have a right and this happens all the time in America,” he said.

“Nazis don't have the right to put up a sign next to the Holocaust museum in Washington,” Gingrich insisted, speaking of the museum where just a year ago a guard was killed by a white supremacist trying to enter the building with a gun.

Gingrich then went on to claim that “we would never accept the Japanese putting up a site next to Pearl Harbor.”

“There is no reason for us to accept a mosque next to the World Trade Center,” he said.

1. Nevermind that it is two New York blocks away, and not visible from
the site (nor it visible from the community center), AND the Nazis are guaranteed the right to protest next to the Holocaust memorial by the constitution.

9. New rule
If you're not allowed to walk two city blocks, you can't call it the Ground Zero Mosque.

2. In one sense, we owe a debt of gratitude to Hitler . . .
for without him, political hyperbole and specious historical analogies would seemingly be impossible in this country -- from both sides of the aisle.

3. Gingrich, riding the hate wave to be relevant.
What right do WE have Newt? The right to strip a group of their right to secure private property and use it in a way that complies with local and state laws because we want to overgeneralize? Should we not buy Japanese and German products? I mean after all, they tried to destroy us and our allies in WWII. There is nothing reasonable or acceptable about the arguments against allowing the center to be constructed. The permits were approved through due process. The property was purchased legally. The owner of the land could have refused to sell. The city and county could have found reasons to deny permits. They did not have any valid reasons for denying the construction and neither do Newt and all his idiot supporters. He is just riding that all too common wave of bigotry to stay relevant in politics.

Or should I say "start fires."

Analogies are imperfect by definition but I'll put mine up against his any day.

11. Gingrich is going to share a platform with a European Neo-Nazi.
This disgrace of a man, along with Republican candidates will be sharing a platform with Geert Wilders to oppose Corboda House. A man thrown out of a German town and for a while banned from the UK.

Gingrich should certainly be able to spot a Nazi given he will be getting all pally-apally with a full on Neo-Nazi piece of scum.

12. I'm pretty sure Nazis DO have a right to put a sign
near the Holocaust Museum. Or hold a protest there. This is what a free society looks like.

13. Can we put an "adultery is sin" sign next to Newt?
Or wait for the NOM to protest in his face? :P

14. Heres a post I did on another forum about "eye of Newt" Gingrich and friends playing Nazi Yahtzee
Also, BriteFART, eye of Newt Gingrich, and others are going to be at an "anti Ground Zero Mosque" rally in NYC on 9-11. Not that them being against the right of the property owners to open whatever the hell kind of establishment they want itsn't bad enough because

1.) Aren't they supposed to be "free market"?
2.) The were over 100 Muslim victims of 9/11, and there were Muslims among the responders. Muslims are as American ans everyone else
3.) The site isn't even on G-0 its 2 blocks away
4.) There is already a Mosque in that area and its been there since 1970 (just shows this "outrage" is fake)

The guest speakers at this event are:

1.) Pamela Gellar, BriteFART contributor and publisher of the "AtlasShrugs" blog. Sounds innocous enough but her credentials also include:

defending war criminals in the Bosnian Genocide:
http://www.chasingevil.org/2008/08/p...st-denier.html

Support of fascist Neo-Nazi parties in Europe:
http://littlegreenfootballs.com/arti..._Fascist_Group

Blaming the holocaust on Muslims:
http://biggovernment.com/pgeller/201...st-is-looming/

Paypal (as evil as they are) called her site a "hate site" and cut off her account because it violated their terms of service:
http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/a...te-speech.html

Involvement with skinhead groups such as "Stop Islamization Of Europe":

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2010/04/ne...f-america.html
We have now formed a new board for SIOA. The new board of SIOA is: Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Stephen Gash and Anders Gravers.

The leaders of SIOA are Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.

http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,4679482,00.html
There are conflicting reports as to which group was the aggressor. News agency AFP reported that many of the SIOE supporters were skinheads.

The anti-Islamic SIOE protesters - rallying under the banner "Racism is the lowest form of human stupidity, but Islamophobia is the height of common sense" - had earlier vowed to protest peacefully.

London authorities had feared violent outbursts on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks following clashes a week earlier at a rally against Islamic fundamentalism held by a right-wing group in the central English city of Birmingham. More than 30 people were arrested in that incident.

2.) Also appearing at the event will be Dutch parliamentarian and ultra-Right fascist Geert Wilders.

http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Europ...-Geert-Wilders

The biggest winner, however, is the flamboyant and extremist politician Geert Wilders, whose Freedom Party platform to ban the Koran and mosque-building defied election polling data and jacked him from 9 to 23 seats. Mr. Wilders’s rise as leader of what is now the No. 3 party in the Netherlands is considered a bellwether of a surlier sentiment in a country traditionally tolerant but now anxious over Muslim minorities.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010...nd-netherlands
many of those who voted for the party are "anxious" about being identified with it, not least because, despite his claims that his party is conventionally right wing, Wilders has visibly attracted neo-fascists as supporters. In doing so he has imported a brash new rhetorical style, quickly reactive to events, that has shaken up Dutch politics.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...-Dutch-MP.html
Mr Wilders claims that the Koran “calls on Muslims to oppress, persecute or kill Christians, Jews, dissidents and non-believers, to beat and rape women and to establish an Islamic state by force”. "Ban this wretched book like Mein Kampf is banned!,” he wrote in yesterday's De Volkskrant newspaper.

So yeah, Andy BriteFART and Newt Greengooch are cavorting with known racists. BriteFART has at least 3 racists on his payoll, O' Queefe, Pezzy, and Geller.
