I strongly support Harry Reid's re-election, but I passionately support Dick Durbin as the new. . . |
|
. . .Senate Majority Leader.
With his statement regarding the Muslim community center in lower Manhattan he failed the summer recess's exam on leadership and tolerance.
Lets get him re-elected and then rally behind Dick Durbin to become the next majority leader.

both he and jan schakowsky are on the 'catfood commission'. they both know how to kick ass, and this has been one of jan's big issues since * tried to get his grubby hands on it.

I can't see the Senate choosing a leader from Chicago when we have a President from Chicago. If we thought Byrd brought bacon to WV a team like that would bring the whole slaughterhouse to Illinois. I think he would be great, but I really don't see it happening. I would love to see Leahy, Kerry, or Boxer.

6. As a person Durbin is likely a good guy |
|
but can't see him as leader. I like Schumer. He has his faults but letting the GOP get away with shit isn't one of them.
