Israel Has '8 Days' To Strike Iranian Nuclear Site, Says Former UN Envoy John Bolton

Former UN envoy John Bolton said Israel has just "eight days" to launch a military strike to halt Iran's nuclear ambitions before such an attack would be too risky.

With Iran's first nuclear power reactor set to launch August 21, an attack beyond that date could release harmful radiation and affect Iranian civilians, Bolton said.

As Bolton told the Fox Business Network:

"Once that uranium, once those fuel rods are very close to the reactor, certainly once they're in the reactor, attacking it means a release of radiation, no question about it. So if Israel is going to do anything against Bushehr it has to move in the next eight days."


Bolton reportedly reiterated the point on Israel Radio Tuesday, this time saying that Israel had a mere "three days" to strike Iran's nuclear reactor. Bolton also told Jerusalem Post Tuesday that "this is a very, very big victory for Iran."

I have started watching more HGTV and less "news".. Every time I flip a channel, I seem to see another Bush-ite on tv blathering away about what a shitty job Dems are doing..

Sometimes, days go by without watching much "current" stuff.. It all gets too depressing at times..especially when we all know just how incredibly stupid people can be:(
