Even if the Dems keep Congress, it won't last forever... |
|
Because, there's something about a lot of Americans that makes them susceptible to Republican bullshit.
It's like a flu that comes around every few years... Only it's not flu, it's mass insanity in the voting booth. Go ahead and push that button for "R", so you can slit your own throats and set society back a few years, Mr. & Mrs. Middle America. And just wait a few years until the Dems get another chance to get back in power to try to save your fat, hairy asses again.
There are times when I wonder if we'll ever get our shit straight and jump off of this crazy circular train... Before it completely derails and fucks up all of our shit for good.
Just bitchin' here. Never mind.

I was at work when it was announced that Bush had "won".
I looked back at my boss and she looked at me and look on both of our faces said it all: We're all fucked now.

5. Yeah I used to stay up at night unable to sleep just thinking how awful it would be. |

He managed to surpass my worst nightmares. I remember fearing we would go to war over his stupidity. Little did I know we would still be at war after he left.

2. It will go from one party to the next because we are so deep in the hole |
|
that fixing things is next to impossible. As it is Democrats are in only long enough to tidy up a little before the next drunken Republican party.

4. FDR was a proud and brave Democrat |
|
And we pretty much held both houses of Congress for 62 years from the time he came to power.
62 years!!!!
We need FDR, not Neville Chamberlain.

13. Counterpoint: The Dems held onto the House for 40 years STRAIGHT |
|
If they don't screw up like they did in 1993-94, they could do it again.
