Poll question: If Fred Thompson is top of ticket, what GOP actor should be his running mate?
Edited on Wed May-16-07 01:50 AM by yurbud
If Fred Thompson isn't the nominee for the GOP, there's no point in even holding the election. A dirty jockstrap could beat any of the other guys in the primary.

Thompson is at least presentable and coherent, and for people who don't follow issues very closely that's enough to make him competitive.

To be as safe as possible, they should back him up with another GOP actor as his running mate.

But which one?

Arnold is out because he wasn't born here
(thank fucking god)
but that still leaves plenty of others:

Dennis Miller

Bruce Willis

Bo Derek

Ted Nugent

Heather Locklear

Pauly Walnuts

Elisabeth Hasselbeck

(of the View & Survivor)

Fred Grandy

(Love Boat's Gopher
and GOP rep from Iowa)

Skeletor

Alf

1. Willis is not GOP
He's more Liberterian leaning. He denounced Chimp and the war.

It always sticks in my craw when I think about what hypocritical fools Republicans really are. On one side they'll lambaste "Hollywood" and then fall over one another to run any actor for office that shows a hint of conservatism.
