Gas at $3.43 in Ovid, Michigan....
You know, I wouldn't give a shit if most of the cost of this stuff in taxes was used to fund Universal Health Care like in European countries.

Instead, we're paying for the Pig Bush's "Real Life Video Games" in Iraq.

4. Gas in Owosso is $3.22 and 10 miles away in Ovid, $3.42: MATH.
Say your car gets 28 mpg and you live in Ovid, so you drive to the station at the Kroger on the other side of Owosso to pay $3.22, and you buy 10 gallons.

You saved $2.00, but to DRIVE that distance (about 12 miles, 24 round trip) cost you about .8 gallons, or somewhere around $2.85, a net loss.

The gas companies may be greedy, but they aren't STUPID.

6. My UK cyber friend.....
says we are so funny here in the US.... they come to Florida every year for vacation and enjoy the ceap gas where they can go everywhere for almost nothing... i.e. the gas price in the UK is a little over $10 a gallon and has long been over $5...

Hard from this side to say we are blessed, though, right? Hahah.... it is $3.00 here today and I am fuming.

7. $3.29 in Tulsa. Up .20 overnight.
And we historically have the lowest gas prices in the nation, so I know everyone else has got to be in pain.

Congress really needs to investigate this price fixing quickly. It is just not normal that ALL stations in an area would go up THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT at the EXACT SAME TIME.

That is gouging, no doubt about it.

And we know that the oil companies are earning millions in profit EVERY DAY.
