From Avant News:

"In a development that has surprised political pundits and puzzle enthusiasts alike, the New York Times announced today that President George W. Bush will be replacing retiring puzzle-master Will Shortz as the crossword puzzle editor for the New York Times."

3. Don't forget "My wife without the 'L'. "

 I wonder what his next job will be. Does he like giving speeches enough to hit the lecture circuit? Or will he just retire and play golf?

2. The NY Times actually has a puzzle by Bill Clinton up right now.

(Now that I've read the article, I see it notes that, but I wrote the header while the page was loading, and I guess I'll leave it since everyone may not read the article.)

I did the "Bush" puzzle to see if it actually worked. I'm sure the Clinton one will but haven't done it yet.

4. Much easier than Clinton's puzzle
...as a matter of fact I nearly fell off my chair at a couple of the clues (like 44 across(2 letter word)"Where you __, Laura?")

Too funny and you can almost imagine him sitting there writing out the clues.
