I don't think they are all relevant today. However the concepts of some of them may be, the literal use of them would not be relevant, since they would include the flaws of that time, and bias of people of that time.
Literal translations add the bias of people.
Because interpretation exist, it has to be about more then text. And the only way you can say any text is always correct is to say either society does not change, or the text has nothing in it about society.
Note on a post in a different thread: text is a subset of The Word. Even though the text is made of words.
It is more then the text. It is also meaning of the Word.
Context, interpretation.
