Any DUers watching the storming of the hijacked bus in Manila
Edited on Mon Aug-23-10 06:45 AM by malaise
Apparently the gunman (a former police officer) started firing on the remaining 14 hostages and police are breaking down the door.

It's live on BBC International

This has been going on for over eight hours according to BBC.
You can hear gunshots.
He was sacked from the police force for extortion in 2008 and says he's clearing his name

Yeh right!!

Add, change from commissioner to officer

Edited on Mon Aug-23-10 07:22 AM by maddezmom
it has been confirmed that the shooter sprayed his M16 into the passengers.

Not sure if the police have entered yet. reporting is fuzzy. an ambulance has arrived on scene.

Unfuggingbelievable. I still can't believe that they are unable to blow out a window or a door.

17. Seven hostages walked out alive
Gunman shot in the head and an eyewitness say two bodies were removed including Mendoza's.

The driver is clueless.

22. They did but the person who really
fucked up was the driver who escaped and told the police that all the hostages were dead.

23. Filipino TV is focusing on their arresting his brother as an accomplice when he went there to help.
The hijacker had sort of shown good faith by releasing hostages but then on the bus TV he saw police arrest his brother and went beserk.
