4. We're finally getting a little bit of a break in the Great Lakes region.....
It's been hot and humid since May.

5. Is that early for Idaho or very early or normal?
4" of rain at Syracuse International yesterday. Lake Ontario is very warm, which means it will be dumping moisture into the atmosphere all winter, said moisture landing on me as snow (We're at the exact right height above the lake). Time to get the staples in; it looks like we're going to get snowed in at some point.

6. Central Oregon forecast - 32 last night; 37 tonight - and this is August
Last night didn't get quite as cold as they expected, at least not in our corner of CO, but wow.

We do have temp swings here (days are still very warm), but I can't remember the last time we had a dip like this in August.

7. Chilly 105 here today....
...of course the heat index will probably be 110 or so. But, no other 100 degree days forecast thru Sept 1 and the average last day for 100+ is 8/25 in Dallas. Fingers crossed.
