Since 1981, the mission of government has largely been to assure the nation's wealth is further
concentrated among a relative few by implementing a grossly unfair tax policy and a wildly irresponsible fiscal policy, all the while paving the way for greatly increased income inequality. These, concomitant with deregulation and a laizze-faire approach to governance, have been the recipe for today's economic collapse for which there is no ready fix in this RW world we live in. :)
