Anyone remember that from the old Soviet Union? Whenever one of their leaders was about to shuffle off his mortal coil, the state-run media would begin playing martial music and patriotic songs. That would usually be the first indication to the West that someone high up in the Kremlin was sicker than they knew.

I guess the latter day equivalent will be if Glenn Beck dons the doorman uniform he modeled for that book of his last year (too lazy to look it up, and not willing to give even a Google search of a bump to it).
