Are protest signs now being "Sponsored by...."

I saw this in the greatest threads. Is this a one off or a trend that these professionally created graphic signs are now part of the protest landscape?

I recently saw a "roadside donation seeker" here in San Diego that was holding a machine produced sign that also had a sponsored by message on it.

So will the revolution be televised and sponsored...

1. Hey, if it's a way to get a sign that can easily be read, all power to them

Some of those Sharpie on cardboard things are really hard to read unless you're standing right in front of them, real problems when you're driving around looking for yard sales and the like.

Remember, sign companies are also suffering in the Reagan Depression.

2. Maybe the place offers a discount if you allow their ad.

That's a one-off sign, so it can be pretty expensive.

3. Professional signs are quite expensive...

If you can get a sign maker to make one for free and just have their logo or name on it I don't see anything wrong with it.
