Dylan Ratigan actually said something today that really resonated with me...

A lot of times what he says kind of ticks me off, but today he was pressing the point, "Are we at war with ALL of Islam, or are we at war with right-wing fundamentalists in our own country and other countries who WANT us to be at war with each other?"

It was powerful and amazing and he kept pressing that point home. Either we are at war with 1.5 billion Muslims - every one of them - or it is us against the right-wing fundamentalist extremists that are in the US and elsewhere, who are trying to be at war with each other and we get stuck in the middle, hapless victims.

I really think that his show today is worth watching if you can catch it on a re-run or something.

I think he was pointing out some things that have really badly needed pointing out. And he did so simply, in a way that can be made into a soundbite for the apparently learning-impaired right-wing extremists among us here in America.

How much the bitterness and anger and frustration feeds those who are evil, if they would continue to do it. Everything always has to be divided into an us/them category and that's there is never enough for everyone, so fight over the scraps.

Muslim extremists got all riled up against the U.S. They're pretty close to being the same. Extremists in ANYTHING are not usually looking at the other side of an argument and they certainly are not willing to try to work it out without killing someone. It's damaging to the U.S. for these idiots to do what they are doing; they're just pissing off more people including Muslims that live in and love our country.

Many of the Evangelicals are about a heart/beat away from and getting closer all the time to the extremeist Taliban. Women have to honor and support "the man" of the house and "do her duties", know their place, etc.
