|
Edited on Mon Aug-23-10 08:26 PM by babylonsister
talking about teabagger rally and what metro lines to avoid.
The conservative 'take back civil rights' rally is ... not so much.
Just gotta say, love Mr. Robinson and of course Rachel. :loveya:

8. Hubby and I were LOL-ing at the "Scary Green Line" |
|
We live in Prince Georges County, which is served by the Green Line. Actually, we're in Laurel, but drop down to Greenbelt to catch the Green Line whenever we go into DC. (BTW, we're white...) When you go on the Green Line on our side, you're more likely to see college students commuting to the University of Maryland, or Howard University. Lots of "scary" tourists, though.
We weren't going to ride the Metro to the wine festival in Rockville on Saturday because of the teahadists. But now we're going to have to, just to see them all freak out at the scary black and brown people on the Green Line. :D
BTW, if they get off the "safe" Red Line at DuPont Circle, they're encounter some pretty scary sights that they don't normally see in Heartland, USA. That's where TEH GAYZ hang out!
