When asked about election outcomes so far, he acknowledged that things hadn't worked out the way they thought they would, and Democrats aren't doing so bad after all...BUT...that the Republicans are still positioned for HISTORIC gains in November. This despite the massive disparity in campaign war chests and the inability of the GOP to raise any money.

Yup, that's our Chuck, catapulting the propaganda for the Repubs, trying to keep their spirits high despite reality.

Democrats are in major trouble due to the strength of the re-energized Tea Party. Right after he stated that incumbents aren't taking the hits that were expected.
