The Media's Foolish Election Lines
For months the media has been pushing the lines that incumbents are in trouble this years, the Tea Party Movement is taking over politics, and the Republican Party is more energized than the Democratic Party. Anyone who hoped that the facts would change the way the media reported these stories has pretty much so already been proven wrong and may continue to be proven wrong depending on the results of today's elections. Even though the facts are proving that what the media has been saying is wrong they continue to promote those ideas.

This morning it was reported that many of the incumbents who are running in today's primaries are leading in their races. In addition, many of the Tea Party candidates who were supposed to win big this year are on the verge of losing their elections. Furthermore, the Democratic Party raised more than twice as much money as the Republican Party. Despite all of this the media continue to promote the lines that incumbents are in trouble, the Tea Party Movement is a force in politics, and Republicans are greatly energized. Now the media is claiming that even though incumbents are winning in primaries they may not win in the general elections. The Tea Party is the group that has energized the Republican Party. Also, even though Democrats raised more money, they are still the party that is in trouble when it comes to the general election.
